2K Shanghai is the first Chinese development studio part of 2K China, a division of the 2K Games brand of Take-Two Software. It was opened on 10 May 2006 and is based in Shanghai, China. The studio works on original IP and collaborates on projects with other 2K studios, providing additional development or art.
The studio created graphics and did the Chinese version of Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution and did the DS version of Top Spin 3.
Additionally, 2K Shanghai serves as a hub for sales, marketing, development and outsourcing opportunities in China.
