Gravity Bear is a game development studio founded by Phil Shenk in December 2008. It was founded following the closure of Flagship Studios, a company he had previously co-founded. Acting as the company's CEO, Shenk announced that Kevin Klemmick, former senior software engineer for Flagship's MMO Hellgate: London, would join Gravity Bear as technical director.
In March 2012 Kabam announced to have acquired the studio.
