Overview edit · view history
Polytron Corporation is a game development studio based in Montréal, Canada. It was founded in February 2008 by Phil Fish and Jason DeGroot. The studio is known for Fez (2012), a game that was in development for five years and won two major IGF awards, in 2008 and 2012. Phil Fish is the main designer and artist and Renaud Bédard did all the programming.
Jason DeGroot is no longer a business partner with the company and in March 2011 the company partnered with Ken Schachter's Trapdoor, Inc. to co-publish the game. After the release of Fez Bédard announced the project had exhausted him and he wanted to work in a team for a next game.
