Overview edit · view history
Rangeela BV was established in 1990 with the sole purpose of publishing Hoog Spel, the first Dutch language multi-platform games magazine for the Benelux territory.
In 1993 the company started localising games for HomeSoft, the main games distributor in the Benelux. They localised a.o. the box and docs of various Sierra games (Kings Quest series, Phantasmagoria) and also did a full localisation of Microprose's Grand Prix 2 of which 120.000 units were sold by HomeSoft.
In 2000 the magazine was discontinued and the company concentrated on other areas of the gaming industry.
Since 2000 Rangeela BV is mainly active in the following fields:
-
Localisation of computer games (all aspects, from box & docs to fully localised, localisation of websites etc.)
-
Games consultancy (licensing, publishing, mobile gaming, online gaming)
