The company was named in 1998 as the second fastest growing Washington technology company and the 24th fastest growing company in the United States. It provided "consulting and outsourced testing services for developers of commercial and corporate PC software and emerging technology environments." The company operated facilities in Boise, Idaho; San Mateo, California, and Bellevue, Washington.
In August 1998 the company was acquired by Data Dimensions, Inc. On February 2, 1999 it was announced that the ST Labs name would no longer used in favor of Data Dimensions.
