Heptamind, founded on 3rd April, 2009 in the city of Darmstadt (Germany) is a small development studio dedicated in creating games on multiple platforms like PC, Nintendo DS & Wii, as well as on the iPhone. The company focuses on the development of Adventure games due to the founder's passion to that genre.

The three founders and managing partners of Heptamind Janosch Dalecke, Walter Heil and Marc Schmitt cover the three spheres of competence, which are Code (Janosch Dalecke), Design (Walter Heil) and Art (Marc Schmitt). Another member of the core staff is Daniel Müller. He was employed by Heptamind at the beginning of April 2009.

All members of Heptamind have been employees and team mates at RocketScience Games. Further more, every member of Heptamind can rely on several years of games indurty experience, as well as a variety of credited games within their respective track records.

The development studio is based in the Technology and Innovation Center in Darmstadt (http://www.tiz-darmstadt.de/), which offers some nice synergetic effects and contact possibilities to other in-house companies.

Since the economic depression has hit the German games industry in the second half of 2009, Heptamind now focuses on iPhone and Wii development in order to accommodate the actual demand of publishers for porting their products to auxiliary gaming platforms.
