Destiny Software Productions Inc. was an independent game development founded in 1981 by Steve Vestergaard under the name Tronic Software. Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the company's first games were cassette tape based for the VIC 20.

Destiny Software Productions became the new company name in 1991. The company's last game effort was Dark Seed II (1995) which featured graphics designed by them.

In 1995 Destiny left the game development industry. The company's focus changed with their development of proprietary internet distribution tools in media and audio compression technologies.

In July 1999, Destiny Software was acquired by Euro Industries, Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary. In November 1999 the name of Euro Industries was officially changed to Destiny Media Technologies Inc.

In 2009 the company's headquarters are still located in Vancouver, B.C.
