SRD (Systems Research & Development) is a software programming company established in 1979 and headed by Toshihiko Nakagō. The company has very strong ties to Nintendo, and has provided programming support for nearly every internally-developed Nintendo title since the mid-'80s, including many titles in the famous Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series. In fact, the company's games division is actually located within Nintendo's main office in Kyoto. In addition to game software, they also produce CAD software.
