Artec Corp. (アーテックcorp.) was a Tokyo-based development company established in 1986 by Yuto Ramon, who had previously worked for Random House. After releasing several computer RPGs, Ramon shut down the company in 1991 to focus on his freelance work as a fiction author and game designer. Most of the development staff joined the new company Rit's which was founded by Artec artist Hiroshi Kajiyama in June of that year.
