Overview edit · view history

343 Industries is a game development studio based in Kirkland, Washington (USA). It was created as a subsidiary to Microsoft Game Studios in 2007 to handle the further development of the Halo franchise after Bungie became an independent company once again.

343's first project was Halo: Waypoint, launched in 2009 as an application for post Halo: Reach games. It provides player statistics, updates and browsing enhancements.

The next project that 343 worked on was Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, an enhanced remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved.

In 2011, it was announced that 343 would be not only developing Halo 4, but also Halo 5 and 6, which are said to make up The Reclaimer Trilogy, and would serve as a sequel trilogy to the first three Halo games.
