Overview edit · view history

Smoking Gun was formed in early 1996 by Rob Henderson, previously Development Director at SCi, a games publisher currently trading on the London stock exchange. Rob was joined on the board of Smoking Gun in 1997 and 1998 respectively by two of his former SCi colleagues, Chris Wild and Fergus McNeill.

Smoking Gun is currently developing a range of football related titles with a strong bias towards PC CD ROM. Their proprietary technology and techniques, backed by unrivalled industry experience, along with the exclusives licenses obtained to a raft of top UK football clubs, gives Smoking Gun a clear commercial advantage in its specialist area.

Smoking Gun has now acquired the rights to develop football titles using the official brands and IP of more than 85 UK clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, and Manchester City from the FA Premier League, as well as all 72 teams from the Coca Cola Football League. This officially licensed product range will soon be expanded to include a slew of additional products based on further English Premiership, Scottish Premier League, and top-flight European clubs.
