Founded by Jim Perkins, FormGen released additional levels to consumers after purchasing or registering the product. Perkins introduced blockbuster games such as DOOM, Wolfenstein, Warcraft and Duke Nukem using this model. The company was acquired by GT Interactive in 1996.
