HMC was started in Brno, Czech Republic, by Filip Oščádal aka Fred Brooker and Petr Klvač aka Peter Winston in 1989. They both used ATARI 8-bit computers, Fred creating assembly code and music, Peter creating pixel graphics and fonts.
