Overview edit · view history
Prelusion was founded in 1996 with its primary objective to create high quality games for a world-wide market. The company’s first commercial product, Gilbert Goodmate, was finished in late 2000 and has since been published in a dozen countries world-wide.
Between 2001 and 2003 the company worked on developing both commercial games, like the yet to be finished title We Come In Peace, as well as corporate games like Jack Murphy and Wild West Christmas. This department is something that will be explored more in 2005.
The company's second commercial title, Timmy the Ghost and the Treasure Hunt, was finished in late 2003 and has so far been published in half a dozen countries. This product was designed from the start to be part of a series of products featuring Timmy the Ghost. Prelusion are planning to develop and release a second title of the series during 2005.
During the first half of 2004 the company went into the publishing industry for a brief period of time. The idea was to publish both its own titles as well as third party titles. In mid 2004 Prelusion started work on the localization of a number of titles like the Reader Rabbit and Garfield series. This strengthened the company's aim to work only with high quality children's titles.
