Compulsion game is a game development studio based in Montréal, Canada. It was founded in 2009 by Guillaume Provost and did contract work, for example for the DS version of Dream Chronicles. In 2013, they debuted with their first self-developed game Contrast. In 2016 they released We Happy Few.
On 10 June 2018, they were acquired by Microsoft Corporation to be part of the Microsoft Studios (today Xbox Game Studios) label.
