Binary Zone PD started out as C64 PD disk distributor in 1990. In 1998 they opened a website named Binary Zone Interactive which also distributed retro C64 items like audio CDs and DVDs.
When the company opened their webstore in 2006 and expanded the number of available products, including homebrew games for retro computers, the primary name shifted to Binary Zone Interactive.
