Overview edit · view history
Tamsoft is a development company based in Taito-ku, Tokyo, Japan. The company was established on June 26, 1992, by Toshiaki Ōta and a group of other former Toaplan staff.
The company was initially a contract developer for TAKARA, developing most early installments of the Battle Arena Toshinden and Choro-Q series. In 1998, Tamsoft published their first original title, Guardian's Crusade, but sales were far lower than expected and they returned to contract work.
Since then, they have often worked with D3Publisher, having produced several dozen titles in D3's budget Simple series. They have also recently gained recognition for the Dream Club series of "hostess club simulation" games.
