Magic Touch

Overview edit · view history

Magic Touch is most likely a brand name used by the Belgian company Copysoft. It is associated with only one game: Skunny: Special Edition released in 1995. Copysoft was previously responsible for several Skunny games. It is however not clear if Magic Touch was also responsible for the development of the game, or if the name was used to license it to Atomic Entertainment (later Sunstorm Interactive). Atomic held worldwide distribution rights to the game, except for a number of European countries such as France, UK and Belgium (by Copysoft's parent company Edisys) and Germany, Austria and Switzerland (by CDV Software). As Sunstorm went on to become a prolific developer, it is also possible the game was co-developed by the two studios. Another option is that Magic Touch was established as a new brand to license the engine and the Skunny franchise to other developers.
