Edmark was founded in 1992 by Jennifer and Robert Edmark in Redmond, Washington to develop educational CD-ROMs for children ages 2 to 16. It's first title was Millie's Math House. In September 2000, The company was acquired by Riverdeep Interactive Learning Limited (Now known as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). Edmark left the software business in 2002, However, Software MacKiev now owns the rights to the Thinkin' Things and Thinkin' Science series for Intel Mac OS X and iPad.
