VEB Polytechnik was a company based in Karl-Marx-Stadt in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) (Chemnitz in Germany after 1990).
Their main function was to manufacture overhead projectors. They also made a microcomputer teaching kit called the Poly-Computer 880 in 1983 and Poly-Play in 1985, which was the only arcade video game ever produced in the GDR.
After the German reunification it became Polytechnik Frankenberg GmbH until its closure in 2006.
