Overview edit · view history
Revistronic, registered trademark of Life Line Entertainment S.L., was a game development company located in Madrid, Spain.
The company began in 1995 when the founders began developing an in-house 1st generation game engine. Their engine was revamped in 2001 and again in 2006 to handle next generation console gaming mechanics.
In 1996 the Revistronic label was created and that year they released their first game, 3 Skulls of the Toltecs for the PC. It was the 1st game in Fenimore Fillmore trilogy. The comedy - western adventure series is Revistronic's most famous legacy outside of Spain.
In addition to developing games for the personal computer, Revistronic was an authorized developer for console platforms including: GameCube, Xbox, Playstation 2 and 3, PSP, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and Wii.
Revistronic went bankrupt in 2011, leading to cancellation of co-op 3rd person action-adventure Project Witches (aka Eternal Light). It had been in development since 2005 and was planned for PS3, Xbox360, Wii & PC. Last released game was The Westerner for WiiWare in 2010.
