Overview edit · view history
Deep Silver Dambuster Studios is a British game development studio owned by Plaion (formerly Koch Media) and using the name of their Deep Silver publishing label. Based in Notthingham, England, it was set up on 30th July 2014 to take over development of Homefront: The Revolution. That game was in development at Crytek UK, which closed the same day and all developers transferred to the new Dambuster Studios. The game was released in 2016.
The team is currently working on Dead Island 2, a title of which it once again took over development from another studio, this time Sumo Digital. It had taken over development by August 2019 and employed 140 people at the time.
A relaunch of Free Radical Design proper was started by Embracer Group in May 2021 to work on the TimeSplitters series, but was closed by 11 December 2023.
