Budcat Creations was an Iowa City based development studio, founded in September 2000 by Jason Andersen, Isaac Burns, and Jonah Stich. The team produced original titles and system conversions of previously- or concurrently-produced games for companies such as Electronic Arts and Majesco.

On 10th November 2008, Activision Publishing announced they had acquired the company. Under its new ownership the studio was involved with the Guitar Hero franchise. Activision closed the studio in November 2010.
