In September 2000, former managers of the defunct Dutch publisher Project 2 Interactive, CEO Robert Ercevic and Marketing Manager Erik Schreuder, formed their new company Project 3 Interactive, also based in the Netherlands.
On 13 February 2002 Project 3 Interactive acquired Swedish development studio Termite Games.
