Company ceases operations. Of the original two projects, one was canceled as technically infeasible, the other never got far enough to have a real design document.
Two smaller games were produced as a last-ditch effort to leverage the technologies already developed. One, Nanotank, reached retail shelves only shortly before the company ceased operations. The other was finished, but the boxes were never ordered so it was never released.

Additional funding received from original investor, as the game schedules promised before operations began were judged impossible by the actual development employees

TDG is founded. Original company name was to be Jurrassic Labs, but the risk of trademark litigation over confusion with the movie Jurrassic Park caused the final name to be changed.
All but three of the founding staff come from either Origin or SSI. Of the exceptions, two are the CEO/CFO and the COO, while the third is Todd Mitchell Porter, who had worked at both companies but was at the time not employed by any game company.
