Bright Software was a small software developer for the Apple IIgs platform located in Basel, Switzerland. Its main product was The GATE, an award-winning top-down maze game first published by Toolbox, France and later on by Seven Hills Software, Tallahassee. Bright Software also developed SpaceFox, a fast side scroller, and contributed the soundtrack to Sensei, a popular game from MIAMI games. Bright Software also developed and published Eureka! Symbolix, a software for symbolic math. The studio was started by Henrik Gudat (lead programmer) and subsequently joined by Jörg Kienzle (graphic design, programming and soundtracks) and Yann Le Tensorer (soundtracks).
