TV Asahi (テレビ朝日) is a multimedia subsidiary of the TV Asashi Holdings Corporation founded in Tokyo in 1957 under the name Nippon Education Television. Around the 1960s, their educational media diversified into various kinds of programs. By the 1990s, they started licensing some anime franchises to developers to adapt them into video games.
