Overview edit · view history
Antidote Entertainment was a privately owned, Canadian company that developed company web sites as well as producing casual games for the mass market and promotional games for individual clients. It was founded in 1999 and was headed by video game veterans George Donovan and Andrew Sturgeon.
In 2001, following the success of their first retail product, Millennium Gamepak Gold the company signed a major development deal with ValuSoft to produce further similar titles for the US casual gaming market. These games were sold via ValuSoft through their mass merchant connections with retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Office Depot and others.
Antidote entertainment also ran Prizecade.com, an on-line gaming site.
