ZIMA SOFTWARE was founded in the year 1995. The main goal of new founded company was to develop and sell computer games for IBM compatible computers. The first successfully finished and published game was real-time strategy Mutarium.

After positive experience with Mutarium project ZIMA SOFTWARE decided to continue in development of other PC games. ZIMA SOFTWARE is well known and popular because of series of excellent adventure games called “The Cop“ published in the years 1998 - 2002. “The Cop” adventure games belonged to best selling titles in CR according to the sales charts of game related magazines.

ZIMA SOFTWARE is heading today to the development of first class computer games comparable with the best international titles. This intention was confirmed after publishing action arcade game Hyper Core in the year 1999. Hyper Core belongs to the best games of action arcade genre until present and even today offers unexceptionable graphics.

ZIMA SOFTWARE has bought and modernized its new residence in Prague in autumn 2000. The place is located close to subway station Hloubetin of B line and houses for 2 development teams and company management.

In October 2002 ZIMA SOFTWARE has bought new motion capture system Gypsy 3.0 from American-British company Animazoo Ltd. to satisfy internal mocap needs. ZIMA SOFTWARE offers free mocap capacities as a service for other development teams, media & advertising companies and edu sector. Because of increased free room requirements ZIMA SOFTWARE set up another offices in Prague – Chodov where MoCap studio is located.
