Overview edit · view history
deepMist Studios was formed in early 2004 as a studio for developing games for cellular phones and handheld consoles. The studio was founded by two friends - Ohad Barzilay (civax) and Shmulik Moradoff - who met at the Computer Graphics research lab of the Hebrew University.
The studio was active between 2004 to 2006 and had three published games and another title which wasn't published. The studio had one original title (MotorDuels) and continued to develop and produce branded games such as Shark Tale (Dreamworks) and Bratz (MGA).
The studio disbanded when the two founders joined Gamearray, a new startup that developed a mobile game creation suite.
deepMist Studios, in addition to developing games, also operated Mobile Game Developer magazine (mobilegd.com), a news and resources site for mobile game developers that was closed around 2008.
