Overview edit · view history
The AnakreoN team was founded in 1997 as a loose association of people who wanted to make games. Initially, they started working on two projects simultaneously. They were Berušky and Karmín. Berušky was released in 1999 and became one of the most successful freeware games of that year. It was positively rated in many reviews and reached an incredible 19,000 downloads. The project was distributed by the online magazine Bonusweb. After the release of Berušky, the AnakreoN team decided to redesign Karmín from the ground up, but soon discovered that the project was too large in its proposed form and therefore unfortunately unfeasible with the current number of people. Therefore, they decided to freeze Karmín for the time being. Finding another suitable project for them was not too difficult. Due to the success of the first part of Ladybirds, they decided to start working on its continuation, but in a completely different form. ... And so the project Berušky 2 was born.
