Overview edit · view history
Supervillain Studios was established in January 2004 and is a developer for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP and next-gen consoles. It was co-founded by Chris Rausch, Steve Ganem, and Tim Campbell. The team at SVS is composed of a group of veteran game developers who hail from such companies as Blizzard Entertainment, Neversoft Entertainment, Westwood Studios, EA, Interplay, Troika, and Point of View.
The company worked on the Xbox version of GUN (2005) and ported it to the platform. They also assisted Raven Corporation in X-Men: Legends II - Rise of Apocalypse (2005). The first game they developed independently was Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony (2006) for the PSP.
The studio was acquired in June 2007 by Green Screen Interactive Software, LLC and created Order Up! for the company. Supervillain was eventually sold back to the original owners on 16th September 2008.
