FTL - Faster Than Light was a publishing label of Gargoyle Games Ltd, ran by Roy Carter and Greg Follis. Games published under the label were developed by Carter Follis Software Associates, also by the same developers. Gargoyle wanted to concentrate on their adventure/RPG games, so FTL was set up to publish action-oriented titles such as Shockway Rider and Lightforce.
