RedOctane® was founded in 1999 by gamers committed to bringing the arcade experience to the home. The company is a leading manufacturer of video dance game accessories in the US. RedOctane opened its virtual doors in August 1999 as the world’s first online video game rental service. They design and produce video game peripherals and accessories including the award winning RedOctane Ignition®Dance Pad.
Since 2003, RedOctane has ventured into game publishing with the arcade smash dance game In The Groove. Following ITG, RedOctane has launched the award winning Guitar Hero into Christmas of 2005. Guitar Hero is now literally ROCKING the industry.
Based in Sunnyvale, California, RedOctane is committed to building the highest quality gaming peripherals.
