After four years of investigation after a filed complaint from Omega Electro BV in 1996 against Nintendo Netherlands B.V. and Nintendo UK Ltd., the Commission of the European Communities opens a case against Nintendo of Europe GmbH, Nintendo Co., Ltd. and their 12 European distributors, including Contact Data Belgium N.V., for blocking parallel trades and operating a resale price maintenance policy (and therefore violating the European Community treaty).

June 9, 1999

The parent company CD-Contact Data GmbH re-organizes the company structure and Contact Data Belgium N.V. becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the newly founded CD Contact Data B.V.

March 27, 1997

The company is founded as a wholly owned subsidiary of CD-Contact Data GmbH.
