Driver-Inter, Ltd. was launched in 1991 by the founder: Research and Technical Association for New Technologies (Russian Academy of Science). The structure was initiated by professors, researchers and engineers of Applied Math Department of Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University (SPbSPU) as a framework for our innovative activity in IT domain. The company focused on cutting edge technology for real time 3D graphics software — the domain demanding sophisticated math methods as well as efficient programming.

During its lifetime the company developed a lot of different real-time 3D graphics applications in different areas. Up to this moment Driver-Inter participated in more than fifteen successful game projects, more than four 3D graphics simulators. Almost all games and applications are based on its proprietary engines. The company developed three engines with different dedications.

The Driver-Inter team has experience in multiplatform development for such hardware as PC, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2), Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP), Microsoft XBOX, and mobiles. Now Driver-Inter has official status as a PS2, PSP and XBOX development team.

The company's technologies cover also a lot of other IT issues in different areas like language parsing or physics modeling for airplane industry.

During the past years the company had successful experience of collaboration with different partners: Samsung Advanced Institute of Technologies, Samsung Electronics, Vicarious Vision, Criterion Studios, CreatStudio and others. The company also has experience in outsource and remote development.

In 2010 the CEO of Driver-Inter, Ltd. is Igor Shturtz.
