Overview edit · view history
Aiky was a development studio founded by ex-Compile employees, headed by founder Masamitsu Niitani. The company was established on 25th November 2002. When Compile filed for bankruptcy and closed its doors in early 2003, Aiky acquired some important assets and franchises, but not all of them, as Puyo Puyo went to Sonic Team. Aside from acquiring the rights to Compile's back catalogue they also acquired the rights to Compile's then-unreleased final game Pochi and Nyaa, which was completed and released under the Aiky label.
Pochi and Nyaa would turn out to be Aiky's only original game. They later sold the rights to Compile's back catalogue to D4 Enterprise, Inc. and shut down around 2006 or 2007.
