Heart Beat was a Japanese video game development studio. It was founded in October 1992 by Manabu Yamano and worked on various installments in the Dragon Quest series. Their last game was the Dragon Quest IV remake for the PlayStation. In February 2002 the company was disbanded. Yamano and a few other developers went on to found Genius Sonority.
