OverviewHeavy Iron Studios was founded in 1999 as a THQ development studio. Located in Los Angeles, California, the studio worked constantly on games based on well-known movie franchises.
In March 2009 as part of THQ's efforts to cut costs, Heavy Iron Studios was spun off and became an independently owned and operated company lead by Lyle Hall.
The company is currently working on several unannounced projects.
