Ignition Tokyo was an internal development studio of UTV Ignition Entertainment Ltd. The studio team included developers formerly with Capcom and Clover, and the opening of the studio was announced in December 2007. The studio created one title, the action game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. It was released in April 2011. During 2011 UTV Ignition announced to halt all internal development and the Tokyo studio was closed.
