OverviewJ.C.Staff (ジェー・シー・スタッフ, short for Japan Creative Staff) is a Japanese animation studio based out of Musashino, Tokyo. The company was established in January 1986 by Tomoyuki Miyata, who had previously been a producer and animation planner at Tatsunoko Production and Kitty Film.
The studio's main business was originally OVA (original video animation) production and animation support, but by the late 1990s, had switched primarily to television animation. The studio has also contributed in-game 2D animation and cutscenes for a wide variety variety of video game titles since the early '90s.
