OverviewPure Sound is a Japanese music production company specializing in sound and music composition for video games, mobile applications, music composing software, and many others.
Pure Sound was formed in 1993 on a ¥10,000,000 capital by ex-Konami and Natsume sound composer Kiyohiro Sada. When Pure Sound started, it was headquartered in Tokyo's Haichioji district, but in 1996 it moved to its present office in the Matsubara district. At the new century Pure Sound started branching out into music composing software (which continues today with their SoundPool applications) and then into other areas, such as pachinko machines and mobile apps. They even built their own studio, which opened in 2009.
