Overview
David Cage founded Quantic Dream in May 1997. The name of the company was based on quantic physics, a science mixing mathematics, esoterism, and interactivity with the observer.

Eidos Interactive.
After two and half years of development, the company delivered its first product
Omikron: The Nomad Soul featuring
David Bowie as the composer of the original soundtrack and the first real time 3D virtual actor in history.
In July 2000, French investors joined the company in order to develop the next generation of interactive entertainment. The company plans to combine cinema, digital television, the Internet, and interactivity for the mass-market.
