Overview edit · view history

Selchow & Righter was a game company most known for board games such as Parcheesi, Scrabble, Jotto, and Trivial Pursuit.

Selchow & Righter's only video game release was Glib, a Scrabble-type game for the Atari 2600, which they released in 1983. The game had low distribution and is very hard to find today.

Oddly enough, the company was purchased by Coleco, one of Atari's main rivals, in 1986. Coleco declared bankruptcy in 1989 and their assets were purchased by Hasbro, who eventually phased out use of the Selchow & Righter brand name.
