Aaron Butler started his gaming carrier on the community side back in 1999 when he started working for GameSpy Ind. as a Web Designer. After leaving GameSpy in 2001 he went to school at the Art Institute of California Los Angeles where he graduated in June of 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art & Design.

However, before graduating, Aaron got his first gaming gig as a Production Intern at Infogrames (now Atari) in Santa Monica, CA working on UT2k3 and MI: Operation Surma. In 2002 he got his first development job at Black Ops Ent. as a Game Designer working on T3: Rise of the Machines. In 2003 he was hired on at Climax Group Inc.’s first US office as a Game / Level Designer working Tron 2.0 Killer App. In 2003, at the end of the Tron2.0 Killer App project, Electronic Arts LA recruited Aaron as a Game Designer for Medal of Honor: European Assault.

In 2005 Aaron left EA-LA and the U.S. and moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to work at Guerrilla Games as a Level Designer on "Killzone2" for the PS3.
