Biography edit · view history

Brendan fled the world of embedded systems to join the venerable Sierra On-Line as a game developer in the mid-90s, when the company's main office moved up to Seattle. After many years developing games directly, he moved to being a development lead in Microsoft's Advanced Technology Group, working with game developers around the world to help them with networking and online technologies. He is currently the Head of Developer Success (which is a fancy way of saying that he's the technical rep who gets to work with game teams to bring their ideas to life) for PlayFab, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2018.

He is married to Cindy Vanous.
