Eddie Correa

Eddie J. Correa (AKA Mixter Ed) was named by his friends for his mixing abilities on the turntables in 1988. Eddie & his brother Les started recording at an early age, Their first samples recorded were of their pet cats fighting, Who knew that these cat sampling brothers would become two of the hottest DJ’s on the west coast, engineering on sessions with the likes of New Edition, Bell Biv Devoe, Busta Rhymes and many others.

The Correa Brothers attribute their diversity in music, to their coming of age during the eighties. With Latin, Hip Hop, Rock, Old school, Electronica, House and Reggae as key elements, their sound is an eclectic blend of these influences. You can find them currently working on the sound track for USA’s #1hit show Burn Notice, Eddie is also currently working on the hit Japanese Anime, Code Geass for Cartoon Network, as well as the Online game Everquest 2 for Sony. Eddie also owns his own Record label called Escobar Music and is currently working on his personal project entitled Craze.Com Featuring Amy Correa-Bell & Sterling Victorian on vocals & Mixter Ed on the ones & twos. Craze.Com is creating a new sound Eddie terms, Electro Ghetto Rock. Album Debut winter 2008.
