Hiroji Kiyotake (清武 博二), born December 21, 1960, is a Japanese video game designer from Kagoshima Prefecture. After earning a degree in design at the Kyoto Seika University he joined Nintendo in 1983. He was the character designer of Metroid (1986). Kiyotake is best known for creating the Wario character.
