Patrick Ascolese received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Systems Engineering at UMass Amherst, during his undergrad career he spent 1 year studing Computer Science on exchange at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At Calpoly SLO he focused on learning about computer graphics and virtual reality.
Patrick started working at Microsoft Game Studios in July 2002. He works in a centralized organization that provides services, such as specialized test support, tool development and automation integration to all the game studios owned by MGS or publishing titles through MGS. In his time at MGS he has had the privilege of contributing to many titles such as Freelancer, Age of Mythology, Dungeon Siege Legends of Aranna, Halo PC, Mechassault, Rise of Nations, Flight Simulator and many more.
