Scott Cronce is Chief Technology Officer at Electronic Arts. He has been with the company since 24th October 1988 and started as a Technical Director. He then held various senior technology positions, including Manager of Tools & Technical Direction, Director of Technology, Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer for EA Redwood Shores Studio. Scott is currently the Worldwide CTO, which essentially means he travels the world playing video games - to keep up with technological innovations. Cronce is a cum laude graduate from Johnson & Wales Collage were he received an Associate in Science Degree for Culinary Arts.

In 2002, the IDM artist Global Goon released the album Vatican Nitez on Rephlex Records. Track 10 is titled "Scott Cronce is the CEO", a likely but unconfirmed reference to this developer.
